Aurélie Balvay is an engineer with a Master’s degree in physiology and neuroscience, specializing in animal bio-experimentation. After a year as animal facility technical manager at Institut Jacques Monod (CNRS, Université Paris-Cité), Aurélie Balvay joined the Micalis Institute in 2015 as operational manager of the Anaxem germ-free animal facility. She is currently a member of the Micalis Institute Unit Council.
