Jean-Marc Chatel is Director of Research and Deputy Director of the Laboratory of Commensal and Probiotics-Host Interactions (ProbiHote), INRAE, MICALIS. He is also director of the Laboratoire International Associé BactInflam between France and Brazil. He has published more than 80 papers with an h-index of 34 (WoS). He has coordinated numerous industrial and academic contracts, mainly involving the development of ‘classic’ probiotics or Next-Generation probiotics such as F.prausnitzii. His team focus on the mechanisms of action of microorganism of health interest.
