Cultissimeo aims to isolate, identify and characterize the microorganisms of the intestinal microbiota using high-throughput innovative culturing and analytical approaches.
Our ambition is to set up a shared high-throughput culturomics platform applied to human and animal microbiota in order to gain access to commensal species that promote microbiota balance. The culturomics platform will integrate and develop high-throughput culturing and analytical techniques to isolate, identify and characterize a wide repertoire of anaerobic microorganisms associated with human and animal health, in order to map and biobank microorganisms of the gut microbiota.
This platform is part of the Cultissime project supported by the Ile de France Region-DIM1Health and INRAE, and the Cultissimo targeted project of the PEPR SAMS, both coordinated by Micalis.
