My name is Matthieu Bertrand and I am currently a PhD student in the Epimic team.
I studied at AgroParisTech and obtained my diploma in 2022. I also have a Master 2 on host-pathogen interactions. I joined the EpiMic team as a Master 2 student in 2022. I then worked as a project engineer in the team for a year before starting my PhD project in October 2023.
I study the persistence stage of Listeria monocytogenes through genetic and molecular characterisation of small colony variants.
