Alessandro Pagliuso holds a PhD in cell biology from the Open University (2013). After the PhD, he joined the Unit of Bacteria-Cell Interactions, headed by Pascale Cossart, at the Pasteur Institute, Paris. In 2019 he was recruited as a permanent researcher in the Epimic team. His main research interest is to elucidate the molecular events mediating bacterial response and adaptation to perturbations in their environment by using Listeria monocytogenes as a model organism.
