Dr Alhosna Benjdia (CR) is co-head of the ChemSyBio team. After a PhD at University of Paris-Sud and a Post-doc at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research supported by an EMBO fellowship, she joined INRAE as a junior research scientist. Her research interest spans from natural product biosynthesis (RiPP, antibiotics) to the human microbiome. In this context, she investigates a major class of biocatalysts, the so-called radical SAM enzymes, found in living organisms at the mechanistic and structural level.
