With a passion for biology, Léa Wagner completed a BCPST preparatory course (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Sciences) in Marseille to enter AgroParisTech, a general engineering school in the field of life and environmental sciences and industries. She specialized in biotechnology, microbiology, and molecular biology. After a final internship on synthetic microbial consortia in Bacillus subtilis, she started her PhD in December 2022 in the SyBER team at Micalis.
She is interested in a technique called cell-free with the aim of learning more about the transcriptomes of non-cultivable bacteria in the microbiota.
