Manish is a Research Director at the Micalis Institute, co-leading the Cellular Computing Team. His research applies experimental and theoretical methods to the design of biological systems across scales: in cell-free expression systems, in bacterial cells of diverse species, and in bacterial co-cultures. His work aims to improve the predictable and automatable design of synthetic genetic and metabolic circuits, while expanding their cross-system compatibility.
