Dr Olivier BERTEAU (DR1 INRAE) is co-head of the ChemSyBio Team. His research is focused on the study of metalloenzymes with an emphasis on radical SAM enzymes. He has made major contributions to the field by implementing a multidisciplinary research combining biochemistry, physico-chemical analyses and structural biology, to explore the mechanistic and structural diversity of these enzymes. Work from his team has been published in major scientific journals (Nature, Nature Chem Biol, JACS, Nature Chemistry) and has been funded by national and European agencies (ANR, ERC).
