Young-Kyoung PARK

Young-Kyoung Park started the research on metabolic engineering and synthetic biology since the master at Seoul National University and continued at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in South Korea. She got the PhD degree with a subject ‘Metabolic engineering of the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica for the production of odd- and even-chain fatty acids’ under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Marc Nicaud at University of Paris-Saclay, INRAE, AgroParisTech. After the postdoc research under the supervision of Dr. Rodrigo Ledesma-Amaro at Imperial College London, she started the career as a research scientist (PI, co-leader of Cosynus) at INRAE, Micalis institute from 2023. Her research interest is metabolic engineering and synthetic biology of Yarrowia lipolytica for sustainable bioproduction.
